What is “That Seams Fun…?”
Posted by Wendy Breakstone Ladd | Filed under Uncategorized
Recently (in October, 2009 when I decided to buy a sewing machine) I started my adventures in sewing and quilting. And I’m pretty much obsessed with this new world I’ve found. Here’s the deal:
- I’m not a great sewer (yet)
- I’m not artistic
- I don’t consider myself “crafty”
- I can’t even draw a stick figure
But I am good at scouring blogs and books to find unique tips, tricks and techniques for sewing enthusiasts and beginners like myself. So instead of creating a blog to show off my limited sewing ability and funky projects, I’m creating this blog to report on the best tips, projects, free patterns, my crazy fabrics obsession (both designs and deals), and techniques that I think beginners might be interested in.
This blog will be like a repository for all the good beginner sewing stuff out there.
I hope this blog comes in handy as it grows – feel free to send me comments and blogs you think I should check out.
Happy Holidays, WendyB
